The Government Affairs Manager will represent 3M in Mexico, advocating for policies and fostering relationships with governmental bodies to support business success.

  • Travel to 3M plant locations and headquarters as needed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key government officials.
  • Analyze key policy developments affecting the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in government affairs or related fields.
  • Deep knowledge of Mexican government institutions and policy-making.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory issues.
  • Proven experience in building government relationships.
  • Effective advocacy and consensus-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
