Overview

As the Manager of Accounts Receivable Accounting at Twilio, you will oversee the accuracy and reconciliation of accounts receivable across multiple systems, ensuring efficient processes and collaboration with various teams.

In Short

• Manage and develop the AR team for accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure AR is reconciled between the general ledger and subledgers.
• Provide mentorship and training for cash application and collections teams.
• Review month-end entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze DSO and write-off trends for financial insights.
• Maintain policy for Allowance for Doubtful Accounts.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and systems.
• Collaborate across functional teams to assist with queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong US GAAP and accounting process knowledge.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency setups in Oracle.
• Knowledge of month-end close processes and accounting reconciliations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Aptitude for continuous improvement and process redesign.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Working hours: 1:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST.
