World News Tonight Production Intern - Remote

Overview

This internship provides an opportunity to support the production of World News Tonight, gaining hands-on experience in journalism and television production.

In Short

• Support all aspects of productions
• Conduct video and editorial research
• Log tape and clear video
• Pitch stories and book interviews
• Handle mail and distribute digital media
• Provide additional support functions as needed

• Engage with hard news and breaking news
• Available for a full-time schedule
• Must provide own housing in the New York area

Requirements

• Previous experience in journalism or television production
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment
• Experience with non-linear editing software (Avid preferred)
• Education in Journalism, Communications, or related field
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university
• Reliable transportation to/from work
• Must have unrestricted work authorization
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week
• Junior or Senior year preferred
