Turing is looking for a Senior Counsel, Product, AI & Privacy to architect the legal frameworks powering an AI-driven future built by Turing. This lawyer will be a business critical strategist sitting at the intersection of product and AI innovation and privacy compliance, supporting Turing’s mission to Unleash the World's Untapped Human Potential through AI.

In Short

• Lead the strategic development and scaling of Turing's Privacy Program.
• Establish and maintain business critical links between teams to embed privacy principles.
• Drive legal strategy for product development focusing on AI/ML applications.
• Support Engineering and InfoSec in developing privacy frameworks.
• Develop pragmatic legal solutions balancing innovation with compliance.
• Partner with Sales to structure commercial agreements.
• Serve as primary subject matter expert on global privacy laws.
• Guide product and engineering teams on implementing privacy requirements.
• Design scalable legal frameworks for rapid product innovation.

Requirements

• J.D. with 8+ years of legal experience focused on privacy and data protection.
• Deep expertise in US, EU, and UK privacy frameworks.
• Strong background in product counseling for technology companies.
• Ability to navigate complex emerging technology issues.
• Experience implementing privacy-by-design principles.
• Strategic mindset balancing innovation and compliance.
• Active membership in US State Bar.
• Experience supporting remote-first operations.
