As a Senior Back-end Engineer, you will be instrumental in building an AI-powered personalization platform that enhances how audiences engage with news, utilizing machine learning and generative AI.

In Short

Build and expose APIs for various functionalities.
Integrate with Brightspot CMS for publishing and delivery.
Implement notification routing rules.
Ensure performance, reliability, and error handling in the system.
Work with Java and extend Brightspot CMS.
Develop backend solutions using Python, Node.js, or Java on GCP.
Utilize GCP services like Cloud Run and BigQuery.
Design REST and GraphQL APIs.
Collaborate in a cloud-native development environment.

Requirements

Experience with Java, particularly with Brightspot CMS.
Proficient in backend development using Python, Node.js, or Java.
Familiarity with GCP services.
Strong understanding of API design principles.
Comfortable in cloud-native environments.
