Lead Front-End Engineer (React) – Digital Products - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Front-End Engineer to lead the redesign, rebrand, and modernization of a major digital gift card platform, focusing on elevating the user experience through mobile-first optimization and performance enhancements.

• Lead the front-end redesign and rebranding of a widely used digital gifting application.
• Optimize mobile usability, responsiveness, and performance across devices.

• Implement and maintain CMS integrations using Contentful.

• Write and maintain unit tests using React Testing Library and Jest.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams across global regions.
• Communicate effectively with client stakeholders and internal teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of front-end development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Expert-level proficiency in React & Redux, Storybook, Contentful, Tailwind CSS, and React Testing Library / Jest.
• Strong command of accessibility (WCAG) standards and best practices.
• Excellent client-facing communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with distributed/remote teams.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver scalable, performant front-end applications.
