Vice President of Data - Remote

Overview

As the Vice President of Data, you will spearhead our Product Analytics, Data Science and Machine Learning, and Experimentation efforts, reporting to the Chief Product Officer. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategy and ensuring we leverage our data assets to their full potential to drive growth and competitive advantage.

Requirements

• 20+ years experience in data roles; some ecommerce or marketplace experience preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to apply technological advancements.
• Proven experience in a senior data leadership role with a team of 50+.
• Extensive expertise in data science, machine learning, analytics, and experimentation methodologies.
• Leadership qualities with experience in building and mentoring high-performing data teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of data systems, architecture, and ML ops.
• Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• A forward-thinker, with a passion for staying ahead of data trends.
• Relevant advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
