In Short

• Participate in the design and deployment of machine learning models to solve a variety of core business problems across the Experiences business.
• Seek out new opportunities to apply data science and machine learning in the Experiences space.
• Prototype, evaluate, deploy and maintain new models in production.
• Design A/B tests and analyze their results.
• Communicate progress and interpretation of model output/performance to technical and business stakeholders.
• Participate in the determination of next steps for each project.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related quantitative field (or Masters with 2+ years of practical experience).
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong foundation in machine learning and statistics.
• Solid foundation on data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with sort and recommendation modeling a plus.
• Experience working with real-world data strongly preferred.
• Previous industry experience a plus.
