Financial Controller - Remote

Overview

We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to lead our accounting operations and support strategic financial planning. This role will oversee the monthly close process, update U.S. financial books, maintain our QuickBooks model, and prepare complete financial statements. The Controller will work closely with executive leadership to support business decisions through insightful financial analysis and forecasts.

In Short

• Research complex accounting issues and provide recommendations on proper treatments in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate and manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and update the company’s U.S. books and records.
• Prepare comprehensive 3-statement financial reports (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement).
• Support financial planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain and regularly update the financial model in QuickBooks to reflect structural or organizational changes.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and analysis to ensure the company’s financial health and liquidity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather financial data and provide insights for strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Controller or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
