EDI Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled EDI Specialist to manage and support the electronic exchange of data between our organization and external partners. This role is vital in ensuring the accuracy, security, and timeliness of benefits-related data transmissions, including eligibility, enrollments, and terminations.

In Short

• Develop, test, implement, and maintain EDI transactions (e.g., 834 files, CSV, Excel) for benefits enrollment and eligibility.
• Monitor and validate daily EDI transmissions, ensuring timely and successful data processing.
• Troubleshoot EDI errors, rejections, and discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain accurate EDI documentation, mapping specifications, and communication protocols.
• Coordinate with HR, Benefits, and IT teams to gather business requirements and support integrations.
• Set up and manage secure data transmission protocols (e.g., SFTP, AS2) for new and existing trading partners.
• Participate in onboarding new partners and supporting EDI implementation processes.
• Analyze existing EDI processes and recommend improvements for performance, compliance, and data accuracy.
