Sports Data Operations Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Sports Data Operations Engineer will be responsible for integrating and operating Enetpulse APIs, managing the sports data pipeline, and ensuring the accuracy and performance of data across OleOle's platform.

• Integrate and operate Enetpulse APIs for sports data.
• Model and store sports entities in normalized schemas.
• Build and maintain a canonical Club Catalog.
• Create data matching and merging rules.

Requirements

• 4-7+ years in backend or data engineering.
• Strong skills in Python, Go, or Rust; plus SQL.
• Experience with third-party data integration.
• Data modeling and entity resolution expertise.
• Hands-on experience with queues and streams.
• AWS experience with various services.
• Ability to design monitoring and alerting systems.
• Sports domain knowledge is a plus.
