Overview

As a Database Architect, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, securing and maintaining our database schema and infrastructure to enable and support enterprise-class SaaS operation.

In Short

Maintain and optimize database schema and performance.
Implement database security and compliance policies.
Develop backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Set up and manage database monitoring tools.
Analyze and optimize database queries.
Research and execute cloud database migrations.
Develop automation scripts for database maintenance.
Collaborate with engineering teams for database design.
Support development of data pipelines and ETL processes.
Work with cross-functional teams to align database strategies.

Requirements

7-9 years of database administration experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Expertise in MariaDB/MySQL on Amazon RDS and Google Cloud SQL.
Deep understanding of database security best practices.
Experience with reliable backup and disaster recovery.
Proven track record of optimizing complex queries.
Ability to design scalable database schemas.
Experience in establishing database monitoring tools.
Experience in automation and infrastructure scripting.
Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code.
