Warehouse Lead Industrial Engineer - Ryder Last Mile - Remote

Overview

This position supports the Ryder Continuous Improvement culture across the business by actively applying continuous improvement methods to support new and existing operations.

In Short

• Lead and drive change within operations through data-driven continuous improvement.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
• Develop and execute a continuous improvement plan.
• Manage high-impact continuous improvement projects.
• Support start-ups, retrofits, and expansions.
• Coach employees in lean methods and operational excellence.
• Utilize engineering methodologies for process optimization.
• Regularly report on data and progress against objectives.
• Design and maintain Quality Management Systems.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
• 7+ years of related experience in Warehousing, Transportation, or Manufacturing.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Access and Excel.
• Intermediate skills in data visualization and database programming.
• Advanced understanding of engineering and data analysis functions.
• Familiarity with warehouse design tools and management systems.
• Knowledge of material handling solutions and automation types.
• Lean Six Sigma certification required.
• cPMP, ISO/QMS preferred.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
