Overview

The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions to enable efficient data management, integration, and analytics. This role involves ensuring data governance, security, and compliance while optimizing data processing systems to meet business needs.

In Short

Collaborate with IT Infrastructure teams for secure and scalable data infrastructure.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Lead the design and maintenance of scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
Architect and optimize the data warehouse using Azure Data Services.
Implement and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines with data quality checks.
Oversee data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
Provide mentorship and training for data professionals.
Stay updated with emerging technologies in data engineering.
Support incident management and troubleshooting.
Conduct capacity planning and scalability assessments.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer.
2-3 years of experience with Azure Technologies.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and DevOps principles.
Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
Relevant Microsoft Certifications.
ITIL, DevOps, or Agile certifications are a plus.
