Foreign Language Curriculum Writer/ Linguist SME (FRENCH) - Remote

Overview

Tipping Point Solutions is seeking initiative-taking, collaborative, and creative professionals for Foreign Language Curriculum Writing / Linguistic Subject Matter Expert (SME) positions. Individuals will work on cross-cultural, fully remote integrated teams with Instructional Designers, DoD client, SMEs, military cultural and policy specialists, and other development team members to design an advanced foreign language course in an eLearning environment to enhance their target language skills and cultural competency.

• Part-time position in Advanced Foreign Language Curriculum / E-learning design.
• Work with a remote team of professionals.
• Focus on curriculum content creation for advanced foreign language e-learning.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Languages of interest: FRENCH.
• Not an online teaching or foreign language translation position.
• Experience in sourcing authentic text/audio materials.
• Design instructionally sound activities for language acquisition.
• Collaborate with instructional designers.
• Ensure compliance with Government specifications.

Requirements

• Native speakers with applied linguistics background.
• Five years of experience in foreign language curriculum development.
• Two years of recent experience in advanced foreign language curriculum development.
• Working knowledge of ILR and Bloom's Taxonomy.
• Experience in online foreign language teaching/learning.
• Basic computer skills for development-related purposes.
