IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an assessment specialist to join our team as a Language Arts Curriculum Designer and help shape our growing suite of K-12 assessments.

In Short

• Write and review clear, engaging assessment items for K-12.
• Collaborate with writers, editors, and illustrators.
• Develop project plans for high-quality assessment items.
• Research and analyze content requirements.
• Assist with ELA curriculum design projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field.
• 2+ years' experience in assessment writing.
• K-12 ELA teaching or tutoring experience.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively.
• Familiarity with HTML, Jira, or version control software is a plus.
• Experience in curriculum development is a plus.
