IT Security Manager - Remote

Overview

The IT Security Manager at TIMOCOM is responsible for the company's overall IT security and its processes, with the flexibility of working remotely or on-site.

In Short

• Evaluate and plan preventive measures to minimize security risks.
• Manage vulnerabilities and their effective remediation.
• Lead the IT Security team and coordinate with adjacent IT functions.
• Design the future security structure in collaboration with the IT Security team.
• Work with external Security Operation Centers.
• Advise departments on information security and serve as the central contact for security issues.
• Plan and lead projects to raise employee awareness of security topics.
• Create, maintain, and develop concepts, processes, and policies to strengthen IT security.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in IT security.
• Excellent communication skills to operate at all company levels.
• Willingness to take responsibility and embrace change.
• Experience in risk analysis, action planning, and effectiveness control.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements in information security (e.g., IT-Grundschutz, ISO27001).
• Experience with Microsoft Cloud infrastructures is a plus.
• Fluency in German (C1) and English (B2) is required.
