Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Financial Analyst will support Wonderful Pistachios and Almonds (WP&A) financial planning and analysis processes by delivering insights that drive business performance and support strategic decision-making.

In Short

• Coordinate and prepare the monthly P&L reporting deck for senior leadership.
• Analyze actual financial results against forecast, budget, and prior year.
• Communicate financial performance to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Support the development of the 5 Year Rolling Forecast and Annual Budget processes.
• Partner with Sales, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams for operational performance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting processes.
• Utilize tools like Excel, Power BI, and ERP platforms to automate workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process redesign and cost-saving initiatives.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in FP&A or related field.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience with Power BI and large ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and desire for accuracy.
• Outstanding verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform financial analysis and communicate findings effectively.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
