Information System Security Officer III - Remote

Overview

The Information System Security Officer III – Senior-Level will provide cyber security management, oversight, and customer support for maintaining the continuity of DHS Management Information System compliance in accordance with DHS, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and other applicable Federal standards.

• Provide cyber security management and oversight.
• Ensure compliance with DHS and NIST standards.
• Implement NIST SP 800 publications.
• Evaluate system security controls against FISMA and NIST guidelines.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning and assessment.
• Possess knowledge of information security principles.
• Work independently to solve problems.
• Support monitoring and troubleshooting of IA problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for optimal solutions.
• Must obtain a Public Trust security clearance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 6 years of Cybersecurity experience or Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience.
• Total of 10 years of Cybersecurity experience acceptable.
• Possess one professional security certification (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CASP, SSCP, CISA).
