Freelance Russian On-Demand Interpreter - Remote

Overview

This is a remote freelance position for a Russian On-Demand Interpreter, responsible for facilitating communication between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers.

In Short

• Accurately interprets messages between patients and healthcare providers.
• Adheres to National Standards of Practice for Interpreters.

• Requires a minimum of 3 years of interpreting experience.
• National or State Interpreter Certification preferred.

• Requires a working computer and high-speed internet connection.
• Must provide a confidential and quiet environment for calls.
• Fluency in English and the target language is mandatory.

Requirements

• 3 years minimum interpreting experience preferable OPI/VRI.
• National or State Interpreter Certification such as CHI, CMI, NIC, CI/CT, VQAS.
• 40 hours or more interpreter training.
• Good interpersonal skills and basic computer skills.
• Fluency test results required.
