Overview

The Honest Kitchen is looking for a dedicated R&D Technician to support our Senior R&D Manager and Product team in developing human-grade pet food products. This role involves hands-on trials, data collection, and product development.

In Short

• Provide direct support to the R&D team.
• Conduct bench top trials and collect data.
• Assist in product development and formulation.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Animal Science, Food Science, or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of food processing techniques.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment.
• Understanding of food safety principles.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis.
• Excellent communication skills.
