Overview

The Senior Corporate Development Associate will collaborate with senior leaders to evaluate and execute acquisition opportunities, aiming to achieve the company’s growth objectives and maximize shareholder value.

In Short

  • Work with senior Corporate Development leaders to evaluate acquisition opportunities.
  • Assess new and existing markets against the company’s growth strategy.
  • Develop relationships with sellers and assess targets.
  • Determine valuation and negotiate transactions.
  • Lead financial and risk due diligence processes.
  • Onboard and train junior team members.
  • Prepare investment overviews and draft Letters of Intent (LOI).
  • Manage multiple projects and deliver results under pressure.
  • Support execution of strategic projects and analyses.
  • Travel up to 15% within the US.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in M&A, Investment Banking, or Corporate Development.
  • Advanced Excel skills, especially in financial modeling.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex issues.
  • Responsible and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
  • Preference for candidates based in Chicago, but remote candidates will be considered.
