Overview

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Occupational Health and Safety Specialist based out of San Antonio, TX, to support health and safety initiatives and compliance in the fabrication of aircraft interiors and electrical systems.

In Short

• Develops and monitors occupational health and safety programs.
• Partners with the Boeing Global Services EHS organization.
• Provides training and instruction to aerospace employees.
• Evaluates impact of regulations on company operations.
• Develops corrective action plans for audits and inspections.
• Conducts health and safety audits/inspections.
• Interfaces with hourly employees and Operations Managers.
• Collaborates to resolve identified hazards.
• Requires U.S. Citizenship for security clearance.
• Full-time position with relocation options available.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety.
• Experience in health and safety risk assessments.
• Experience in developing and managing safety programs.
• Collaboration across functions and organizations.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with safety audits and ergonomic evaluations.
