Overview

The Boeing Company is seeking a Data & Cost Analyst/Applied Mathematician (Associate) to support the Estimating Data & Analytics team in developing AI-powered estimating tools and performing data analysis.

• Support development of AI-powered estimating tools.
• Work with Boeing data systems to create databases and data tools.
• Leverage statistical software for analytical model building.
• Develop solutions for imperfect datasets.
• Map data to common baselines for cross-platform analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience with data modeling tools like SQL, Python, or R.
• 1+ years of experience in databasing or statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of advanced statistics and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with AI technologies and large language models.
• Familiarity with API design and application.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Experience in the defense industry is a plus.
• Ability to communicate and present findings effectively.
• Knowledge of estimating techniques is desired.
