Overview

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Human Exploration and Spaceflight Subject Matter Expert to provide advisory support to NASA's Space Operations Mission Directorate.

In Short

  • Provide program office advisory skills on an as-needed basis.
  • Support NASA’s Space Operations Mission Directorate.
  • Work closely with civil servant program management.
  • Attend meetings and conferences.
  • Refine technical integration and communications products.
  • Develop periodic status reports and presentations.
  • Formulate recommendations to senior-level program management.
  • Participate in NASA Program office forums.
  • Work in a fully remote capacity within the United States.
  • May require security clearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related STEM discipline.
  • 12+ years of professional experience in systems engineering or program management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships.
  • Initiative and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multi-task across various issues.
  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
  • Advanced degree and experience with NASA programs preferred.
