Project Manager (Independent Contractor) - Remote

Overview

The Ad Council’s Creative Services & Distribution Team is looking for a Project Manager (Independent Contractor) who will play a key role in supporting the VP, Studio Manager of the Creative Studio. In this role, you will manage complex, time-sensitive projects for both campaigns and internal initiatives and provide communication regarding status to the appropriate staff and teams.

In Short

• Manage complex projects for campaigns and internal initiatives.
• Communicate project status to relevant staff and teams.
• Maintain schedules, assignments, approvals, and final billing.
• Utilize Smartsheets platform to track project details.
• Work approximately 35 hours per week for 6 months.
• Compensation of $60 per hour, paid monthly.
• Fully remote position.
• Assist in managing print production and distribution process.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly studio billing and maintain project files.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in project management.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Solutions-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with project management tools, especially Smartsheets.
• Experience in Microsoft Suite and Canva is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously and in groups.
• Strong time management skills.
• Self-starter with a good sense of humor.
