Project Manager - Special Uses - Remote

Overview

The Project Manager will support the USDA Forest Service’s Special Uses division, managing the planning and implementation of projects remotely.

In Short

• Manage planning and implementation of special use authorizations.
• Coordinate among stakeholders and ensure compliance.
• Develop schedules and review title work.
• Conduct records research and advise on complex issues.
• Perform on-site inspections and process authorizations.
• Travel to project locations in North Carolina.
• Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Work independently to achieve project goals.
• Must have 10 years of experience in special uses.
• Part-time position, 8 hours per week on Tuesdays.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10 years of experience in special uses.
• Strong understanding of Federal Special Uses policy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competency in computer use and word processing software.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
