Overview

The Donor Relations Coordinator leads fundraising campaigns and donor stewardship initiatives designed to build the annual fund, increase donor retention, and support growth of the legacy giving program.

In Short

  • Develop and implement annual fund campaigns.
  • Create compelling campaign materials and strategies.
  • Produce impactful content for donor communications.
  • Build and nurture relationships with donors.
  • Contribute to fundraising team planning and budgeting.
  • Process incoming donations and manage follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with other teams for content gathering.
  • Track campaign results and donor metrics.
  • Support proposal writing and compliance activities.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to represent the Tergar mission with integrity.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Experience in crafting fundraising materials.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in non-profit or higher-education development preferred.
  • Knowledge of US regulations related to charitable giving.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects on schedule.
  • Basic understanding of donor metrics.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
