Overview

As an Infrastructure Engineer at Telnyx, you will play a key role in deploying and maintaining edge data centers for compute, AI, and storage while contributing to innovative connectivity solutions.

In Short

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain OpenStack and Proxmox platforms.
• Ensure hardware design meets business and technical requirements.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve virtualization solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) modules.
• Contribute to the installation and migration of hypervisor services.
• Document architecture and components of projects.
• Participate in the development process of new projects.
• Maintain and optimize active projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in developing Ansible roles and playbooks.
• Proficiency in creating Terraform/Tofu modules.
• Strong GitOps mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux networking.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with KVM/QEMU virtualization.
• Understanding of Ceph storage solutions.
