Senior Product Designer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Product Designer to lead and evolve the immersive setup experience across VR and mobile platforms. This role focuses on pre-OTA workflows, mobile design systems, and large process flows. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong technical adaptability, autonomy, and collaboration skills, particularly with engineering teams.

In Short

• Own the design of headset setup experiences, including unboxing, initial onboarding, and pre-OTA workflows.
• Maintain and evolve large, complex design systems and Figma diagrams.
• Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure designs are technically feasible.
• Drive platformization and scalable design patterns across multi-device ecosystems.
• Influence product roadmaps and strategic direction in collaboration with partners.
• Interface effectively with engineering to oversee OTA flows and OEM integrations.
• Think holistically about user flows including login and credential management.
• Lead multiple strategic initiatives including cross-platform integration.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of design experience within hardware device products.
• Proven experience designing for immersive technologies and mobile platforms.
• Strong understanding of pre-OTA workflows and hardware-software integration.
• Expertise in maintaining large process systems and creating scalable UX frameworks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across disciplines.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.
• Familiarity with VR is a plus but not required.
• Experience with unboxing experiences and factory build requirements.
• Visual or UI design focus will not be a fit for this role.
