Motion Graphic Designer - Remote

Overview

The Motion Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating complex animated graphics and infographics, kinetic typography and video pre & post-production for TEGNA's broadcast television stations and digital platforms.

In Short

• Design and animate broadcast graphics for TEGNA stations.
• Proficient in Cinema 4D and/or Blender.
• Communicate with stations about projects and daily graphics.
• Learn CG design software (Chyron Prime) and participate in template creation.
• Handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Formal training in design/art and preferably motion.
• Strong 3-D skills are required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience as a motion graphic designer.
• Strong executional skills in Adobe products.
• Excellent design and animation skills.
• A professional portfolio demonstrating compelling designs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to perform under tight deadlines.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
