Overview

TEGNA is seeking a fulltime Meteorologist to support various TEGNA television stations, delivering accurate weather forecasts and engaging content across multiple platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science.
• 4+ years of on-air experience as a Broadcast Meteorologist.
• Expertise in severe weather environments.
• AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist seal or equivalent.
• Mastery of weather graphics systems and digital media platforms.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel for weather events.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in posting content to websites and social media.
