Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Social Media & Publicity Associate to join our team at Tapas Entertainment, a leading digital publisher and entertainment platform. This role will support the growth and engagement of our social media platforms while driving publicity efforts for Tapas Originals and K-Comics.

In Short

• Plan and execute social media strategies.
• Write engaging content and create visuals.
• Monitor comments and report on performance metrics.
• Coordinate with social media teams for cohesive scheduling.
• Oversee the creation of visual content and craft compelling copy.
• Conduct and optimize artist/author interviews.
• Create and manage email lists for publicity outreach.
• Edit and create short-form videos for social media.
• Assist in coaching team members for on-camera appearances.
• Engage with pop culture and internet trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or related field.
• Passion for webcomics, especially Korean and Chinese.
• Experience with design/content tools like Photoshop and Canva.
• Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack, and project management tools.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Solid understanding of social media marketing strategies.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Bilingual in Korean (preferred).
• Knowledge of pop culture and social media dynamics.
