Overview

Tamatta Mining & Construction is seeking a dedicated Water Treatment Operator to join our team and support one of our esteemed clients in maintaining high-quality water treatment standards.

In Short

  • Operate and maintain desalination reverse osmosis plants.
  • Monitor flow meters and gauges for water quality assessment.
  • Operate computerized control systems for water treatment.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure normal operation.
  • Collect and test water samples for analysis.
  • Address customer complaints regarding water quality.
  • Complete and maintain accurate plant logs and reports.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks.
  • Travel to remote project sites on a rotational basis.
  • Work in extreme weather conditions.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a construction field or camp position.
  • Registered 3rd or 4th year plumbing apprentice.
  • Gasfitter "B" ticket is highly desired.
  • Experience with water treatment or desalination systems.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with pumps and sensors.
  • Leadership skills and teamwork capability.
  • Commitment to quality and creativity in work.

Benefits

  • 12-hour shifts, with a rotation of 4 days on and 2 days off.
