Red Seal Pipefitter - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Red Seal Pipefitter to join our team for a temporary assignment focused on mining mill construction at a remote fly-in camp in Nunavut. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems integral to the construction and operation of mining mills and process plants.

In Short

• Install, assemble, and maintain process piping systems for mining mill construction.
• Perform welding, fitting, and piping installation tasks according to blueprints.
• Support installation of mill infrastructure, including conveying systems.
• Conduct inspections, pressure tests, and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve piping issues.
• Collaborate with construction teams and engineers.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed.
• Follow all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Valid Red Seal certification as a Pipefitter.
• Experience in industrial piping installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of piping codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in remote and cold conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
