Roofing Estimator - Remote

Overview

The Roofing Estimator is responsible for managing all aspects of job costing, budgeting, and profitability management processes for roofing projects, from proposal through final analysis. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role collaborates with the sales, permitting and roofing operations teams to support profitable growth and project success.

In Short

• Estimating materials, labor and other costs related to residential and commercial roofing projects
• Estimating measurements and take off from bid set of drawings when purchased measurement reports are not available
• Clarifying scope of work with Customer and internal team members
• Verifying roofing systems and material selection in coordination with the permitting/roofing team
• Leading the preparation of customized proposals for complex projects
• Setting budgets for accepted contracts and supporting change orders
• Analyzing project profitability in comparison with budget
• Maintaining records for material and labor unit pricing
• Updating roofing costing models and job estimation tools
• Providing training for sales and team members on proposal and contract development
