Estimator - Remote

Overview

As an Estimator at IMI Industrial, you will help our teams achieve project objectives by requesting bids from suppliers and ensuring our bid strategy supports budget requirements.

In Short

• Support Pre-Contract and Operations with project costs and pricing objectives
• Utilize tools to create bid comparisons
• Build and develop vendor relations and strategies
• Select appropriate vendors for bidding various needs
• Develop RFQ documentation for vendors and suppliers
• Develop budgetary cost models
• Assist in submission of bid projects
• Build tools necessary for efficient budgeting
• Present cost models to internal operations teams
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation throughout the project

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (Construction or Material Handling preferred)
• College degree (Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Experience or readiness to learn Sage Intacct ERP and ProCore Project Management Software
• Desire to pursue PCEA certification or similar
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal form
• Ability to think critically and solve problems
• Motivation and ability to learn and improve processes and tools
• Attention to detail
