Overview

As a Network Engineer at T-Systems, you will be responsible for maintaining network security, troubleshooting network issues, and implementing new networking solutions that contribute to the digital transformation of companies and society.

In Short

  • Maintain network security by monitoring threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Install, configure, and test new network hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot network problems and test components for defects.
  • Plan, design, and implement new networking solutions.
  • Analyze network performance for improvements.
  • Install and configure network systems including routers and firewalls.
  • Backup network configurations and test restore processes.
  • Provide IT support for internal systems and network infrastructure.
  • Document all network standards and procedures.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or similar.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in advanced network architecture.
  • CCNA or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in network security for Industrial Control Systems.
  • Professional experience with real-world production systems.
  • Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security zones.
  • Knowledge of Cisco ISE, IPSec VPN, and DMVPN.
  • Experience with Cisco switches and routers.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Proactive and responsible attitude.
