Overview

As a Staff Software Backend Engineer at Sysdig, you will play a crucial role in building a graph database platform that leverages large-scale datasets to enhance cloud security solutions.

In Short

• Report to the Manager, Engineering.
• Build a Graph database platform using large-scale datasets.
• Lead design and development of graph database models.
• Design and build ingestion pipelines for graph databases.
• Develop batch and real-time update processes.
• Create query services in a distributed system architecture.
• Collaborate across teams to utilize existing data assets.
• Resolve technical roadblocks and mitigate risks.
• Set up continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.

Requirements

• Experience with property graphs and graph databases (Neo4j preferred).
• Expertise in tuning and scaling Graph databases.
• Knowledge of graph data models and languages (Cypher, Gremlin, SparQL).
• 4+ years of experience in developing graph algorithms.
• Proficiency in building scalable Graphs in production.
• Experience with messaging/streaming technologies.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems using Go or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control.
