IT Business Analyst (Remote)

In Short

• The position is primarily remote with potential onsite meetings in Baton Rouge, LA.
• Define and document business functions and processes.
• Analyze the integration of business functions with technology.
• Assist with business case development and business process reengineering.
• Consult with management to identify and document business needs.
• Recommend new processes for operational efficiencies.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis.
• Develop or assist with project work plans and timelines.

Requirements

• Three years of experience with business analytics, with at least one year in an Agile environment.
• Project experience facilitating project-related meetings.
• Writing skills with experience in creating requirements and design documents.
• Experience with VISIO or similar diagramming tool.
• Experience with data conversion.
• Familiarity with JIRA.
• Familiarity with Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR).
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing.
