Overview

As a Senior Automation & Integration Engineer at Hippo Insurance, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a cloud-first infrastructure while collaborating with IT Operations and other stakeholders to enhance business efficiency through automation.

In Short

• Build automation for IT Operations workflows using PowerShell and Python.
• Implement API integrations to connect decentralized systems.
• Architect scalable solutions for systems access.
• Manage and enhance MDM environment for macOS and Windows.
• Engineer solutions to reduce technical debt.
• Support enforcement of security standards.
• Act as a key stakeholder in cross-functional projects.
• Translate project requirements into actionable objectives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineer/Automation Engineer role.
• 2+ years of experience in project work.
• Familiarity with APIs for system integrations.
• Proven scripting experience using PowerShell.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Good command of English (written & spoken).
• Availability for afternoon meetings due to US collaboration.
• Extra points for compliance experience (ISO 27001, PCI, etc.).
• Understanding of RBAC concepts.
• Experience with modern MDM systems.
