Our client is looking for another Account Manager to join the team. Their platform automates and amplifies the traditional Public Relations (PR) approach to yield incredible results for their clients. With clients in B2C and B2B, lifestyle and tech, they have been featured in People, CNN, The Today Show, Huffington Post, AOL, Good Morning America, WIRED, NPR and beyond.

In Short

• Responsible for conceptualizing and driving creative media relations for clients.
• Develop media lists and craft persuasive media pitches.
• Send media pitches on behalf of clients.
• Write compelling emails that editors will respond to.
• Handle day-to-day communications with clients and media.
• Stay on track of client deliverables and follow processes.
• Use data-driven insights like “open rates” in strategies.
• Translate client’s business needs into PR strategies.
• Superb Excel skills and experience with Slack.
• Passionate about startups and technology.

Requirements

• Experience in Public Relations or related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects.
• Familiarity with editorial calendars and HAROs.
• Ability to work independently with little guidance.
• Data analysis skills to measure PR effectiveness.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Interest in technology and startups.
• Experience with media relations and pitching.
• Proficient in Excel and Slack.
