SupplyHouse.com, a fast-growing and successful e-commerce company, is looking for a new Associate Category Manager to join our Merchandising Team. This role is ideal for a subject matter expert in heating and hydronic products with an eagerness to expand their career in merchandising to drive category growth and enhance our product offerings. As an Associate Category Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing our heating assortment by identifying emerging product opportunities, guiding strategic decision-making, and providing technical insights to enhance our offerings. In Short

• Support the category strategies, understanding industry trends, product assortments, and product reviews.
• Make recommendations on new products and brands to launch that align with the category strategy.
• Review current products and perform product life management for new and existing products.
• Manage day-to-day vendor relationship activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to support the category strategy.
• Assist with product promotions and educational strategies.
• Support sales growth through first-to-market ideas and product management.
• Gather insights from the customer base to implement improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Merchandising, Engineering, or Marketing.
• 5-7 years of hard parts knowledge or technical skills in the heating industry.
• 0-2 years of experience in merchandising, product development, or related fields.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel and retail systems.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Statistical analysis and data manipulation skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high growth environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
