Lead Software Systems Architect - Remote

Overview

STR is hiring a highly skilled Lead Software Systems Architect with software reverse-engineering experience in our Woburn, MA office.

In Short

• Utilize Systems Engineering and software skillset to architect, implement, and deploy advanced software systems.
• Analyze, reverse-engineer, derive, and define requirements from ambiguous or incomplete software system implementations and codebases.
• Perform gap analysis between derived requirements and current system capabilities.
• Develop/generate documentation to capture requirements of new and existing systems.
• Assist other technical contributors throughout the software lifecycle.
• Implement MBSE approaches using SysML in Cameo.
• Work closely with domain experts and software development teams on various applications.
• Position allows for remote work up to 25% of the time.
• Requires Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Minimum 8 years work experience as a Systems Engineer or related field.

Requirements

• BS, MS or PhD in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience integrating with large scale software-intensive systems.
• Strong ability to derive requirements and translate them into development tasks.
• Experience in Java, Python, or object-oriented programming languages.
• Minimum 3 years experience architecting systems using SysML in Cameo.
