Kafka Architect - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Kafka Architect with strong experience in Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) to design scalable, real-time data streaming solutions for retail and eCommerce platforms.

In Short

• Design scalable, real-time data streaming solutions.
• Utilize Apache Kafka for various retail use cases.
• Integrate with ERP, CRM, OMS, WMS, POS systems, and IoT.
• Work with Cloud Kafka solutions like AWS MSK, Azure Event Hubs, GCP Pub/Sub.
• Implement Microservices, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and SAGA patterns.
• Monitor systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Ensure compliance with security standards like PCI-DSS, GDPR, and CCPA.
• Preferred experience in stream processing with Flink and Spark Streaming.
• Experience in retail analytics and personalization engines is a plus.
• Confluent Kafka certification is preferred.

• Strong experience in Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
• Experience with Apache Kafka and related technologies.
• Ability to design and implement real-time data solutions.
• Knowledge of integration with various systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-based Kafka services.
• Understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Experience with monitoring tools and security compliance.
• Preferred qualifications include Confluent Kafka certification.
• Experience in retail analytics is a plus.
• Degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
