Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing our development platform, ensuring a seamless and efficient developer experience and a stable and effective infrastructure.

In Short

• Architect the system’s production topology, focusing on scalability, fault tolerance, and resource management.
• Own and continuously improve the build and CI systems of Starkware Industries.
• Define and manage automated production processes such as code deployment, gradual deployment, backups, and cluster management.
• Apply modern engineering practices to streamline deployments, reduce costs, deployment times, and operational overhead.
• Work hand in hand with engineering teams to offer guidance and education on integration, testing, monitoring, and across different technology stacks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a startup environment.
• Deep dive understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on implementation.
• 3+ years of experience with Jenkins and GitHub actions.
• 3+ years of experience working in public cloud environments, preferably AWS and GCP.
• 3+ years of coding experience in Python or other equivalent.
• Skilled in Linux system administration.
• Team player, fast self-learning individual, and service-oriented attitude.
