Overview

The Director of Prospect Management and Research is a strategic leader responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for the College’s development research and prospect management programs, while collaborating with a high-functioning Advancement Services team.

In Short

Lead the College’s prospect management and research initiatives.
Develop strategies for gift revenue growth.
Establish systematic processes for prospect identification and tracking.
Build and refine gift officer portfolios.
Conduct prospect screening efforts including assessment and evaluation.
Utilize quantitative analysis and data tools for prospect evaluation.
Collaborate with colleagues across the Advancement team.
Hire and lead a small team as the College's campaign progresses.
Drive organization-wide change and new norms.
Ensure effective communication and relationship building across departments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years in prospect management or related fields.
Experience with process documentation and workflow design.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with EveryAction CRM is a plus.
Experience in comprehensive campaign fundraising is a plus.
Ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
Innovative problem-solving skills.
