Overview

We are looking for an experienced Francophone Editor to join Spotify’s Canadian Editorial team, contributing to music-related projects with a focus on the French-Canadian market.

In Short

• Curate and maintain playlists for Canada, focusing on the Québec market.
• Develop and maintain an editorial strategy for the Canadian market.
• Identify trends by listening to a wide range of music genres.
• Work cross-functionally on projects related to the French-Canadian market.
• Analyze consumer behaviors using data and analytics.
• Collaborate with international editorial teams on various projects.
• Act as an ambassador for Canadian artists within the company.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the music industry.
• Expert knowledge of French-Canadian music culture.
• Fluency in written and spoken French and English.
• Deep knowledge of music and culture, especially in Canada.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Ability to interpret analytics proactively.
• Experience with Spotify as a user and fan.
• Willingness to travel when needed.
