Overview

The Advertising Product & Technology team at Spotify is on a mission to build a next-generation advertising platform that enhances the user experience for both fans and advertisers. We are looking for Data Scientists to join our multidisciplinary Advertising R&D Product Insights team to tackle unique challenges and create opportunities for artists and creators.

In Short

  • Join the Advertising R&D Product Insights team at Spotify.
  • Work on both Ad Demand and Commercialization, and Ads Data Platform teams.
  • Analyze large datasets to provide insights for product and business decisions.
  • Build scalable solutions for metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Design and run experiments to enhance user and advertiser outcomes.
  • Write efficient code in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and modeling.
  • Communicate insights to technical and non-technical partners.
  • Mentor peers and drive projects from scoping to delivery.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of data science experience with a degree in a quantitative field.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, or R, and experienced with large datasets.
  • Familiar with data visualization tools like Tableau and Looker.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning.
  • Able to translate complex ideas for diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity.
  • Collaborative and eager to shape the future of Spotify Advertising.
