Overview

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to lead the development and verification of structural requirements for aerospace products.

In Short

• Lead development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering groups to establish product environments.
• Guide product design and verify structural integrity.
• Develop analytical methods and finite element models.
• Lead test plan development and execution.
• Analyze and report test results for validation.
• Support investigations into product failures.
• Develop processes/tools to improve development efficiency.
• Requires active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Position is 100% onsite in Berkeley, MO.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or related field.
• 9+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in metal/composite structure stress analysis.
• Prior experience in aerospace industry preferred.
• Technical lead experience is a plus.
• Ability to build and run Finite Element Models (FEMs).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance.
